What a night! What fun!
The Great National rocked on its foundations last night as our Lip Sync event enthralled hundreds of patrons in a dazzling display which will live long in the memory.
From early evening, hundreds of people crowded into the venue and when the action got underway it turned out to be a stunning show.
Each of the 15 acts was outstanding and the untiring efforts of all involved was obvious.
Special congratulations to Corinne Beattie, Deirdre Whyte and Tom Waldron who worked tirelessly to organise a memorable event and to Aine, Cora, Jade and the amazing dancers from Danceworld.
The judges, Michelle Mulherin, Louise Duffy and Peter Leahy were excellent throughout and had a very tough decision to make when they were asked to pick a winner.
However, they made a very popular and deserved choice when naming Guns and Roses as the 2018 champions.
The band made up of Davy Langan, Fred Queenan, Shane McCann, Conor Moore and Basil McHale were truly outstanding and brought the house down with a stunning display.
Well done and thankyou to everyone involved. It truly was memorable.
