Ballina make it two from two in the league
The First XV recorded a 43-17 win over University of Galway in Dangan today. The men in green now have two wins from as many matches at the start of the league campaign.
Tries from Rob Fridd, Jonno Bloomfield, Liam Jones and two from scrum-half Ronan Lawrence and three conversions from Ben Matheson left Ballina 31-3 clear.
At that stage the home side began to play their way into the game and two converted tries closed the gap to 31-17. However, Ballina finished strongly with two tries from Ben Donohoe and a conversion from Craig McCormick.
Well done to all involved.
