CONGRATULATIONS to our own Ailish Quinn who has been named U18 Provincial Player of the Year by the sports website THE22.IE.
This is another well-deserved award for Ailish at the end of a stellar season.
She helped Ballina to the U18 Connacht Cup title and was an integral part of the Connacht squad who won the Inter-Pro Series. She then captained Ireland in the U18 Six Nations Festival of Rugby in Wales. She was named U18 Player of the Year at the Connacht Rugby Awards at the end of a season where she represented herself, her family, her club, her province and her country brilliantly.
We're very proud of Ailish and her achievements. A bright future awaits.
